How to Make your Door Functional:

Antique doors are one of the best items to make a statement in your home. Not only are they functional pieces, but also genuine works of art that will add a touch of elegance and allure to your home. Antique doors, due to their age and previous use typically require some additional work to make them function like a new door. With the exception of a few doors we may have in stock, all doors will need to be re-squared and placed in a jamb. This can be done by most trim carpenters or door shops. If you need assistance or have questions about this process, please contact us. In addition to putting the door in a jamb, there may also be other adjustments you would like to make to the door including the following:

• Replacement of missing glass (all glass doors are sold without the guarantee of glass being in usable condition)
• Patching of wood from previous hardware 
• Joining of doors
• Sanding, painting, or refinishing the door

Special Considerations and Notes on The Corbel Doors:

All of our doors are measured within the nearest ½ inch. If you need any specific measurements or have concerns with a certain measurement, please contact us and we will be more than happy to provide you with any information you may need. 

*Glass in doors may be damaged or in un-usable condition. If the glass is broken or damaged, the glass will be removed before shipping.

**All of our doors are antique and have been salvaged out of a variety of buildings. Due to their age, previous use, and construction out of wood, each door may have unique characteristics including cracks, dents, worn paint, and other small imperfections that add to their character and look. Additionally, much like any other product constructed out of wood, doors have the ability to move or bow when brought into a new environment. Every door has been hand selected and is in a suitable condition to be used. Prior to shipping, we inspect each door to ensure it meets all of our expectations. Should we find any issues with the door, we will contact you to inform you on the issue and possible resolutions. Shipping:

We are happy to say that we offer shipping nationwide on all of our products. Most door orders ship within 2-3 weeks after purchase (*there may be some variability in shipping time depending on demand and the total order contents) and an average of 2-7 business days of transit time depending on location. For additional shipping information, please refer to our shipping policy or contact us. Please note that liftgate shipping is not available for P.O. Box addresses.
