Introducing this unique large spice grinding table, originating from India and sourced in France. Hand-hewn from a large acacia log, this piece bears witness to centuries of spice-grinding tradition. Dating back to the early 1900s, its bottom was buried for stability during the grinding process, while the top surface served as the grinding platform. Indentations on the surface collected the juices and oils of the spices, while the dried remnants remained on the face. Repurposed to function as a coffee table, this piece is sure to be a conversation starter in any home.
